We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills for permanent, 12-month administrative assistant position. Salary commensurate with educational degree level, skill and experience.

This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and is located at the District Administration Offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains District and employee confidential information, including but not limited to: Professional and classified seniority lists; record of yearly salary, tenure and certification for professional personnel; internal transfers; and all employee personnel files.
- Administers records and approvals for leaves of absence, including medical and FMLA.
- Sends, receives, checks for completeness, and files all District new hire paperwork.
- Prepares certification files and data for state reporting.
- Sends all postings for professional, classified, and supplemental positions.
- Prepares personnel logs and School Board letters for monthly School Board meetings.
- Records and updates job descriptions.
- Maintains and updates department budget; administers purchase orders and invoices.
- Responsible for maintaining department inventory and distribution of supplies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capable of working independently and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology skills - Microsoft Office Products.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
